GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The philosophy of this wine is to assert the characteristics of Sangiovese in its own territory. Each Chianti Classico region has its own particular terroir: our vineyards are situated at the height of about 450 m above sea level and enjoy a good clay-limestone structure wuth silica skeleton. Limited amount of production together with good exposure and evening breezes and ensure changes of night temperatures are ideal for promoting correct maturation of the bunches.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION
Grape harvested by hand and transported in small cases to the wine cellar. Fermentation in small stainless steel vessels by controlled temperature. Following maceration of the skins for 2-3 weeks. Ageing a part in Barriques and Tonneaux and a part in big oak barrels. Refining in bottle minimum 6 months before selling.

SENSORY PROFILE APPEARANCE:
Intense ruby, tending to garnet. Sensory profile appearance Cellar potencial: Up to 5 years and more

NOSE:
Pleasurable, distinctively varietal, with scents of violets.

PALATE:
Harmonious, showing ripe fruit and dried plum on the finish; some tannins, which will smooth out with time.

ALCOHOL:
Dai 13% vol ai 13,5% vol
