How does 4.4 million sound? T-ara has recently emerged from the pack of Hallyu exports for having snagged a rather generous contract. An unspecified Japanese agency is reportedly going to pay the girls of “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “Yayaya” fame $4, 350, 000 USD for their Japanese activities and promotions.
But what exactly does T-ara have to offer the Japanese market? Your guess is as good as mine. T-ara has some catchy songs but they’re not particularly talented, creative, or unique. The figure is high and it is based off of their anticipated success in Japan which, according to the figure, is, wouldn’t you know it, high.
But what do they have that SNSD, Kara, or any of the other five million artists in Japan do not have that will bring them such great success?
