Banyak diantara orangtua bangga anak-anak putri mereka dijemput pacarnya. Seolah jika anak mereka tak punya pacar, mereka khawatir anak perempuannya tidak laku. Padahal keutamaan mendidik anak perempuan sangat besar dan penting karena menjadi tabir dan penghalang dari api neraka
“Barangsiapa memiliki tiga anak perempuan kemudian ia sabar atas (merawat dan mendidik) mereka serta ia memberi makan dan minum mereka dari apa-apa yang ia dapatkan maka anak-anak perempuan tersebut akan menjadi penghalang baginya dari api neraka di hari kiamat.” (HR. Ahmad)
Diriwayatkan dari Anas bin Malik ra bahwa ia berkata: Rasulullah saw. telah bersabda:"Barangrangsiapa mengurus dan mendidik dua anak perempuan hingga mereka dewasa maka ia datang di hari kiamat bersamaku.” Beliau merapatkan jari-jemarinya. (HR. Muslim)
 “Hai orang-orang yang beriman, peliharalah dirimu dan keluargamu dari api neraka yang bahan bakarnya adalah manusia dan batu; penjaganya malaikat malaikat yang kasar, yang keras yang tidak mendurhakai Allah terhadap apa yang diperintahkan-Nya kepada mereka dan selalu mengerjakan apa yang diperintahkan.”(QS.At-Tahrim:6)

Imam Al Ghazali mengatakan, pendidikan utama bagi anak-anak adalah pendidikan agama. Karena di situlah pondasi utama bagi pendidikan keluarga. Pendidikan agama ini meliputi pendidikan aqidah, mengenalkan hukum halal-haram memerintahkan anak beribadah (shalat) sejak umur tujuh tahun, mendidik anak untuk mencintai Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam, keluarganya, orang-orang yang shalih dan mengajar anak membaca al-Qur’an.
“Hendaklah anak kecil diajari al-Qur’an hadits dan sejarah orang-orang shalih kemudian hukum Islam,” ujar Al-Ghazali. Baru setelah itu diajarkan pada mereka pengetahuan umum
 Yang terjadi banyak orantua lebih sedih anaknya tak bisa matematika, Inggris atau IPA namun mereka tenang-tenang saja ketika anaknya tak mengerti adab, hukum Islam. Bahkan banyak orangtua tidak sedih ketika anak-anak perempuan mereka pergi –bahkan sampai pulang malam—dengan teman-teman prianya. Padahal dari situlah kehancuran masa depan anak-anak perempuan mereka bermula. Begitu pentingnya Islam memperhatikan anak-anak perempuan, jauh-jauh hari, Rasulullah dan Al-Quran memperingatkan pada para orangtua.

Of course he wanted to get inside, but he could not do so because there was a high wall all round the place.
